This project involves toys, fabricated environments, and my macro lens.   The toys, small icons of our times, become more than what they are, as the viewer adds his/her own personal history, fleshing out the stories in my scenes.   I hope to intrigue the viewer, really make them take a second look, and reconsider. David Levinthal once said of his work, ‘there’s less in my photographs than meets the eye’ , indicating how the viewer is unable to remove themselves from their own memories, and the benign toy takes on a personal resonance.
